2012 European Tour

37 Hockey is proud to announce our 2nd annual European Tour, taking place in August 2011. Each tour will provide 20 players (18 Skaters, 2 goaltenders) the opportunity to showcase their hockey talents in front of management from levels of Europe that could realistically result in a contract being earned for the 2011-2012 season.

13 of the 20 participants in 2010 European Tour earned professional tryout opportunities in the following countries while participating in the tour:

-France (div. 1 and div. 2)
-Germany (Regionalliga)
-Belgium (1st division)
-Finland (3rd and 4th league)
-Switzerland (4th league)

For 2011, we have arranged to host the following tour:

SCANDINAVIAN TOUR: Helsinki, Finland, August 6-14, 2011

Whenever possible, games will be scheduled with teams having available roster space that could accommodate the acquisition of an import player. In addition to management from the hosting club, 37 Hockey will extend scouting invitations to all clubs within the area in order to ensure maximum visibility for tour participants.

  COST: $2,000 USD per tour

* Discounts are available for those who wish to participate in both tours

All selected players will receive the following:
· 6 games to be played over a 10 day period
· Practices
· Coaching from a series of current professional guest coaches
· Game uniform
· All accommodations, transportation and select meals provided while in Europe
· Scouting packets to be distributed to club management during games
· Placement assistance for the 2011-12 season provided for all participating players

Players will be responsible for providing their own air travel to Europe (City where the tour will begin) and are responsible for all their own hockey equipment.

This opportunity is open to all North American or European players who have experience at the following levels:
· Junior “A”
· Major Jr. (OHL, QMJHL, WHL)
· College (NCAA, CIS, ACHA)
· Single “A” pro (SPHL, AAHL, ETC.)
· Double “AA” pro (CHL, IHL, ECHL)
· European pro/semi-pro

Players will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. Accepted players will be required to provide a 50% deposit by July 1, 2010 with the balance being due one week prior to departure.
